PURPOSE: A concentrator and read method using a concentrator are provided to receive the read information of a read terminal by enabling a user to use a communication network between concentrators. CONSTITUTION: Concentrators(10-1, 10-2) include a controller(11), a server communication unit(12), a terminal communication unit(13), and a communication unit(14). The server communication unit communicates with a read server. The terminal communication unit communicates with a read terminal. The communication unit communicates with other concentrators. The controller receives the read information of the connected read terminal and the read information of the disconnected read terminal. The controller transmits the received all read information to the read server.
