PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an ultrasonograph in a case where a two-dimensional tomogram in an arbitrary position is displayed. SOLUTION: In the ultrasonograph, an image generation circuit generates a plurality of two-dimensional tomogram data and collects tomogram data across a three-dimensional area at steps S1 to S8. An image reconstruction section converts collected data to volume data and generates tomogram data of orthogonal three cross-sections. A monitor displays two-dimensional tomograms of the orthogonal three cross-sections. An arithmetic condition setting section sets arithmetic conditions on the basis of data concerning arithmetic conditions of arithmetic processing. The image reconstruction section generates a plurality of tomogram data accompanied by depth information by performing a prescribed arithmetic processing on the basis of the arithmetic condition setting data and volume data.
