Method and device for determining the current statuses of cells in cell areas

The method involves determining change of conditions of shapes and structures of cells (11, 112, 113) as defined morphological structure information. Development and change of characteristic absorption bands of the changed cells are determined with respect to a reference absorption band of intact cells (111) using detected cytochrome as definable biochemical absorption data. The structure information and the biochemical absorption data are corrected in a correction unit (28) for representing actual conditions of the cells, and the actual conditions are transmitted to a display unit (31). An independent claim is also included for a device for determining actual conditions of cells in cell regions, comprising an evaluation unit.
