PURPOSE: A buffering apparatus for an opening-and-shutting device is provided to alleviate an operating force of a drawer or door while the drawer or door is suddenly opened or shut, and to prevent a safety accident and noises while opening and shutting because the drawer or door is gradually opened and shut by a compression of a spring in a relaxed state. CONSTITUTION: A buffering apparatus for an opening-and-shutting device comprises a main body(10), a cover body(20), a damper(30), a spring(40), and a slider(50). The main body comprises an open type inner space, an insertion groove(12), an entry guide unit(12'), a vertical groove, a guide groove, a seating projection, a spring fitting groove, and a damper fitting groove. The seating projection corresponds to a thickness of the cover. The cover is joined to the main body to seal the inner space. The cover body comprises a vertical groove(23), a guide groove(24), and mounting holes(25,25') The vertical and guide grooves correspond to the vertical and guide groove of the main body. The damper, the spring, and the slider are joined to the inner space. Each side end parts of the damper and spring are joined to the inner side of the main body. End parts of a damper shaft(31) and spring are joined to the slider. The slider flows along the guide groove unit of the cover body.
