PURPOSE: A spray coating roller and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to perform spray coating without damage to a base material by forming a metal base layer on the base material. CONSTITUTION: A spray coating roller(1) comprises a base material(10), a metal base layer(20), and a coating layer(30). The base material is composed of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic material. The metal base layer is formed by coupling a base member to the surface of the base material. The base member is formed using a metal material. The coating layer is formed on the top of the metal base layer through spray coating.
