METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOLING WIRE-ROD COIL

PURPOSE: A wire-rod coil cooling method and apparatus are provided to keep a pitch between rings of a wire-rod coil by synchronizing the transfer speed of the wire-rod coil with rolling speed, thereby uniformly cooling the wire-rod coil. CONSTITUTION: A wire-rod coil cooling method is as follows. A wire-rod coil(100) rolled and wound is transferred synchronously with rolling speed. The wire-rod coil is transferred while being cooled with a blower unit(30) which is additionally arranged under a conveyor(70).
