PURPOSE: A system for displaying additional service information of content on a sub terminal and a method thereof are provided to display additional service information about content or an advertisement through a sub terminal without limiting content reproduction and watching. CONSTITUTION: A content extracting unit(210) extracts partial content from content outputted from an external device. A feature information analyzing unit(220) analyzes at least one feature information from the extracted content. An additional service information receiving unit(230) receives the additional service information from a selected server. The server stores the feature information and additional service information corresponding to the content.
