FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: two-dimensional array of electrodes (213) lies on the first side of the sensitive layer (212), while a counter electrode (211) is placed at the rear side of the array. The size of the electrodes (213) can vary in the direction of radiation (y) to adapt the operating load of counting electrodes.
