PURPOSE: A steam generator is provided to change water to steam rapidly by increasing water temperature because a first passage has multiple projections to increase contact surface of water flowing in the first passage. CONSTITUTION: A steam generator comprises a main body and a heater. The main body comprises a first passage, a second passage, a water feeding unit, and a steam discharge unit. One end of the second passage is connected to one end of the first passage. The water feeding unit supplies water to the other end of the first passage. The steam discharge unit discharges steam to the other end of the second passage. The water is supplied through the water feeding unit along the first passage and heated by the heater to change steam. The steam flows into the second passage again and discharges through the steam discharge unit. Multiple protrusions are arranged in the first passage. The protrusions extend contact area of the water, flowing in the first passage, to increase water temperature. Multiple ribs are arranged in the second passage with zigzag shape to delay moving speed of the steam.
