FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed drive belt comprises tension element, main elastomer section and deformable fibers. Fibers are embedded into belt main section and surface of contact with pulley. Fibers have initial average diameter and initial shape of cross section. Cross section of embedded parts does not, in fact, varies. Fiber ends extend vertically from said contact surface and are straight or slightly curved. Fibers have certain extension length and certain extension cross section shape, said extension is uniformly deformed with respect to initial cross section shape along major section of extension length. ^ EFFECT: longer life, reduced noise in operation. ^ 17 cl, 12 dwg |
