<p>Epoxy-radical contg. polymer obtd. by mixing (I) at least 1 copolymer of 5 to 45% wt. acrylonitrile and 55 to 95% wt. butadiene which (a) conts. >=1 of the following grps. i.e. -OH, -SH, -COOH, -CNHNH2 or -NHR, pref. in terminal position and (b) has a no. average mol. wt. of >2000, a glass transition temp. -25 degrees C and a solubility parameter of 8 to 10.5 with (II) an epoxy resin having >=1.8 epoxy radicals per molecule. These polymers have excellent tenacity properties and are used in making coatings for electrical connections, glass fibre composites etc.</p> |
