摘要

PURPOSE: A variable pitch propeller driving apparatus is provided to achieve the rapid direction change of a ship by simplifying the structure of a variable pitch propeller driving unit and freely changing the pitch angle of a propeller blade. CONSTITUTION: A variable pitch propeller driving apparatus comprises a body(110), a propeller rotor(120), a propeller driving unit(130), and a pitch varying unit(140). The body consists of an upper end vertically extended and coupled to hull and a lower end horizontally extended to the lower part of the upper end. The propeller rotor is rotatably installed on the lower end of the body. The propeller driving unit transfers power to rotate the propeller rotor. The pitch varying unit is axially installed on the central part of the rotary shaft in the lower end of the body to be rotated with the propeller rotor.
