FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of changing the flight mode of aircraft in a forbidden zone involves automatic determination of the actual position and speed of the aircraft in space and automatic software-based reconfiguration of the on-board control system in the forbidden zone. A radio signal is received on-board the aircraft from the transmitter of the forbidden zone regarding coordinates of the centre and boundaries of the forbidden zone. The crew is automatically notified when the aircraft enters the forbidden zone. Simultaneously, the on-board notification radio transmitter of the air-traffic control system is switched on to notify on breach of the forbidden zone, the type, number, coordinates, altitude and speed of the aircraft. 0.5Ç10 s after reconfiguration of the on-board control system, dynamic characteristics of the aircraft are changed until it turns to leave the forbidden zone 90 relative the radial beam from its centre. After the aircraft exits the forbidden zone, signalling to the crew and the on-board notification radio transmitter of the air-traffic control system are switched off.
