FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing an antioxidant for lubricants, consisting of oligomers of alkylated diphenylamine and alkylated phenyl--naphthylamine, and a metal acetylacetonate, where the metal is Co (III), Co (II), Mn (II) or a combination thereof, involving mixing said components to form a reaction mixture and passing an oxygen-containing gas through the reaction mixture.
