CHARGE-PUMP MULTI-LEVEL INVERTER

摘要

PURPOSE: A charge pump multi level inverter is provided to reduce element voltage stress without additional snubber by clamping all semiconductor elements to an input voltage through a clamp diode. CONSTITUTION: A first inverter module includes a first switch voltage source unit(10-1) performing a charge pump operation, and a first inverter unit(20-1) forming a first output voltage of the first inverter module. A second inverter module includes a second switch voltage source unit(10-2) performing the charge pump operation, and a second inverter unit(20-2) forming a second output voltage of the second inverter module. Each of the first and the second switch voltage source units charges an input voltage at a charge pump operation state. Each of the first and the second inverter units generates an output voltage from the input voltage and the charged voltage.
