<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing artificial lightweight aggregate is provided to save energy and resource and to protect environment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing artificial lightweight aggregate comprises: a step of dehydrating sludge from wastewater disposal plant; a step(S1) of pulverizing the waste glass; a step(S2) of mixing dehydrated sludge and waste glass powder and one of borax and silicon fluoride under the presence of water; a step(S3) of forming spherical granules; a step(S4) of drying the spherical granules; a step(S5,S6) of plasticizing and cooling the dried spherical granules. The plasticization is performed at 850-950°C for 8-20 minutes.</p> |
