FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: method to authenticate users with protection against spying, consisting in preliminary generation of a set from N small graphic symbols, giving the choice to the user from the generated set to memorise the group of S secret small graphic symbols sk, by displaying on the screen those N graphic symbols selected from the set optionally, generation of an invisible secret area Ai, limited with a polygon with tops in centres of secret symbols displayed on the screen Ki, fixation of a point di of user's impact at the screen, generation of the positive result of completion of i stage of authenticating information input, besides, additionally the user is given to memorise a selection pk of a secret template of symbols from the base Pk of secret templates for a k secret graphic symbol sk, the next selected template is displayed on the graphical symbol sj, the positive result of completion of the i stage of authenticating information input is formed. ^ EFFECT: making it possible to authenticate on any screens produced according to different technologies of image display. ^ 4 dwg |
