PURPOSE: A light emitting driving apparatus, a display apparatus, and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent damage of a light emitting device. CONSTITUTION: A drive circuit part(110) is connected to one or more light emitting device. The drive circuit part operates the light emitting device according to a control pulse. A controller(120) senses voltage at different positions within the drive circuit part. The controller determines a short circuit state between the light emitting device and the drive circuit part. A protection part(130) performs a protection process with respect to the light emitting device.
