PURPOSE: An electrode assembly and a secondary battery using thereof are provided to easily arrange anode plate and negative plate without limitation of number of laminating and winding of plates. CONSTITUTION: An electrode assembly(100) comprises electrode member equipped with one or more of a first guide unit, second electrode member equipped with one or more of second guide unit, and a separator(130) which is located in between the first and second electrode members and has combined section by more than one of the first and second guide units. The first and the second electrode members comprise active material layer on which active material is spread and a first and a second uncoated parts(112) on which the active material is not spread. The first and the second guide units are respectively included in the first and/or second uncoated parts.
