PURPOSE: A payment method using coupon validation and a payment system using the same are provided to enable a VAN server to transmit payment information and coupon approving details after the VAN server receives a normal coupon approval from a coupon approver. CONSTITUTION: A payment approval request signal including payment information and a coupling approval request signal including coupon information are transmitted to a payment terminal(S312,S313). A coupon approval response signal is received from the coupon approver after the coupon approval request signal is transmitted to the coupon approver(S315,S317). It is determined whether a coupon corresponding to the coupon information satisfies certain conditions based on the payment information(S319). The payment approval request signal is selectively transmitted to a payment approver(S324). |
