PURPOSE: A red luminescent phosphor material and a light emitting device using thereof are provided to offer white luminescence LED apparatus with low oxygen content amount and high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A red luminescent phosphor material is represented by chemical formula(1): (M_(1-x)EC_x)_aM^1_bAlO_cN_d. The red luminescent phosphor material emits light with peaks in wavelength range of 620-670nm when the material is excited to wavelength range of 250-500nm. In the chemical formula 1, M is selected from IA group element, IIA group element, IIIA group element, IIIB group element, rare earth materials and IVA group element, and EC is selected from Eu, Ce, Mn, Tb, Yb, Dy, Sm, Tm, Pr, Nd, Pm, Ho, Er, Cr, Sn, Cu, Zn, As, Ag, Cd, Sb, Au, Hg, Tl, Pb, Bi and Fe. M^1 is different from the M and is selected from a group which is composed of tetravalent element. x, a, b, c and d are respectively a number which satisfies the following condition: x is larger than 0 and smaller than 0.2, a is larger than 0.55 and smaller than 0.80, b is larger than 2.10 and smaller than 3.90, c is larger than 0 and smaller than or equal to 0.25, and d is larger than 4 and smaller than 5. |
