<p>The roller deflection unit, carrying the combined threads to the winding head in a winding or doubling machine, turns a permanent magnet for a current to be produced proportional to the speed of yarn travel. By comparison with system parameters, a correction signal is developed to adjust the DC motor speed so that as the bobbin diameter increases the winding action is controlled to ensure that the wound yarn is maintained at a constant tension.</p> |
