PURPOSE: A parking area management system which uses a near field communication tag and a method thereof are provided to process a parking area usage condition and a parking fee according to a security rank of each user, thereby processing an electronic parking map, and the parking area usage condition, and parking fee payment using a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A parking area management server(110) requests parking area information mapped to NFC(Near Field Communication) tag information. The parking area management server generates user parking information. The parking area management server transmits the user parking information to a user terminal(102). A tag information management server(120) searches the parking area information mapped to the NFC tag information. The tag information management server transmits the parking area information to the parking area management server. A payment server(140) processes parking fee payment transactions according to the user parking information.
