METHOD FOR DETECTING AND REPAIRING ERROR OF TOUCH SCREEN LINEARITY AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A self correcting method and apparatus thereof are provided to improve the effectiveness of a touch screen by automatically checking bad linearity cells. CONSTITUTION: The X-Y coordinate of a touch screen and a wave value allocated to the X-Y coordinate are stored in a database(S31). When malfunction is generated in touch input operation, a cell where bad linearity is generated is distinguished(S33). The waveform value of the cell is acquired. The waveform value is stored by mapping the cell with the waveform value of the X-Y coordinate(S34). A screen for the waveform value of the cell is displayed by the touch input operation.
