PURPOSE: A distance control system of a vehicle is provided to prevent a traffic accident by accurately calculating a distance between vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A distance control system of a vehicle comprises a transmission part(210), a receiving part(220), a relative velocity measuring part(230), a distance measuring part(240), and a distance calculating part(250). The transmission part transmits a wireless signal to the front of a vehicle. The receiving part receives the wireless signal reflected from a target vehicle. The relative velocity measuring part measures the relative velocity of the target vehicle. The distance measuring part measures a first distance between the vehicle and the target vehicle. The distance calculating part calculates a second distance between the vehicle and the target vehicle by integrating the relative velocity.
