PURPOSE: An apparatus for restoring an object surface and a restoring method of a seafloor are provided to easily extract a location coordinate of a target surface through a laser grid pattern. CONSTITUTION: An underwater camera(10) takes a photograph of a target surface of a seabed surface. A laser projector(20) projects a laser grid pattern in the image. A positioning unit(30) determines a three dimensional position of the underwater camera. A restoring/reproducing unit(60) restores an actual coordinate from a virtual plane coordinate.
