PURPOSE: A micro refraction meter using defocusing imaging is provided to measure the refractive index of microfluid by the formation of multiple defocused images on an image plane. CONSTITUTION: A micro refraction meter(100) comprises a target(10), an objective lens(20), and an iris diaphragm(30). The target positions the microfluid. The objective lens receives the light which is emitted from a light source and passes through a target. The iris diaphragm forms defocused image on the image plane of the refraction meter by the formation of multiple pin holes to deviate the path of light incident to the objective lens.
