The machine has a towable recoiler (1) including a trolley (3) for receiving a reel for rolling a cable, and a frame (2) carrying the trolley. A slide incorporates to the chassis for assuring displacement of a spiral winder (5) between a rolling position in which the spiral winder is carried by the frame, and working position. A connection unit connects the frame and the spiral winder for maintaining the spiral winder and the frame in a stable position, in the working position.
