PURPOSE: An LED package with a narrow emission angle is provided to maintain a light source area and reduce an emission angle by adopting a pipe structure for limiting the emission angle of an LED chip. CONSTITUTION: A square LED chip(202) is arranged on a reflection layer(201a) of a sub mount(201). A light emission surface is formed on the upper side of the LED chip. An emission angle limiting member(203) limits the emission angle of light from an LED chip and is arranged on the sub mount to surround the LED chip. The height of the emission angle limiting member is larger than the width of an entrance of the emission angle limiting member.
