BUTT WELDING METHOD

PURPOSE: A butt welding method is provided to prevent welding defects by cutting tap pieces after the completion of welding because defective weld portions are formed in the tap pieces only. CONSTITUTION: A butt welding method comprises the steps of: processing a pair of welding members(10,20) with tap pieces(11,12) installed at the welding start and end portions of a welding line, arranging the pair of welding members so that weld parts thereof are butted against each other, welding the weld parts from the start portion to the end portion, and cutting welded tap pieces.
