The arrangement has a carrier profile (2) including a support surface (21) and fastened to a side wall (11) of a lock bar (1). A block support formed as wedge-shaped is arranged on the support surface. A surface element (3) i.e. insulating glass pane, is placed on the block support. The block support includes surfaces arranged at an angle greater than 0 degree. The surfaces are arranged parallel to an edge of the surface element and to the support surface, respectively. An inclination angle of the support surface corresponds to the angle between the surfaces. An independent claim is also included for a method for compensating weight-related bending of a carrier profile in a facade arrangement.
