<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture support which can efficiently obtain a great amount of cell aggregates which have the same properties of a tissue in a living body and are uniform in terms of differentiation state by simply aggregating mesenchymal stem cells three-dimensionally into a uniform shape, and a cell culture method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a cell culture support which comprises an upper surface comprising a plurality of wells for culturing cells, wherein the upper surface has a root mean square roughness Rq of 100 to 280 nm and linear density of 1.6 to 3.0 per 1 μm length. The wells have openings with a circular or rectangular shape and an opening size of 70 to 550 μm. A distance between central points of the wells is 80 to 700 μm. The cell culture support is formed of sintered zirconia ceramics, and the sintered ceramics have an average pore size of 0.15 to 0.45 μm.
