<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information medium and its manufacturing method preventing exfoliation of a substrate or a frame on the side face of the medium. <P>SOLUTION: An information medium 10 includes a frame 11, a module 13 internally mounted in the frame 11, an adhesion layer 14 for covering the frame 11 and the module 13, and a first base material 15 and a second base material 16 for holding the frame 11 and the module 13 via the adhesion layer 14. At least the four corners of the periphery of the frame 11 are outwardly convex, and these convex portions 11b and concave portions 11c and 11d alternately formed present a concave-convex shape of the periphery of the frame 11. The end face 11e of each convex portion 11b is flush with the side face of the first base material 15 and the side face of the second base material. A part of the adhesion layer 14 is composed of the adhesive filled in the concave portions 11c and 11d, and the first base material 15 and the second base material 16 face to each other only via the adhesion part 14 at each of the sections facing to the concave portions 11c and 11d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
