<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart highly convenient dust and drip resistance to a battery pack with a slide connection structure. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack comprises: battery cells; a case which houses the battery cells and connection terminals on a battery pack side, and which is provided with slits for connection with external devices at positions corresponding to the connection terminals on the battery pack side; a shutter which is slidably arranged on the case, and which has a tapered portion and a slit portion arranged in a manner corresponding to the intervals of the slits on the case; and a spring which biases the shutter in the sliding direction. When the battery pack is not connected to any external device, the shutter closes the slits on the case to cover the connection terminals on the battery pack side. When the battery pack is connected to an external device, the tapered portion of the shutter comes into contact with a terminal of the external device to cause the shutter to slide, thereby enabling the connection between the connection terminal and the terminal of the external device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
