<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type continuously variable transmission capable of achieving high maintenability by favorably opening a case without causing the complexity of a cooling system. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission case 64 of a belt type continuously variable transmission 32 is composed of a case body 64A supported by a vehicle body and a cover body 64B detachably supported by the case body 64A. On the case body 64A, there is provided a swelling portion 64D formed by swelling a part of wall to the vehicle body side. A discharge section 64F for delivering cooling wind incorporated into the transmission case 64 is formed in such a posture as to deliver cooling wind from the swelling portion 64D to the rear side of the vehicle body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
