<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for representing and maintaining a redundant data set. <P>SOLUTION: System DNA transmission and transcription techniques including a system of symbolic exchange used for data transmission are used. A lexicon is based on the provision of a unique and consistent identifier (or symbol) for transmitted data using "sticky byte" factoring. A protocol is provided in order to determine which entry (including a unique identifier to a corresponding data pair) in a local lexicon (or "Primordial Data Pool") is included in a remote lexicon and, therefore, can be used in a transmission in place of the data itself. A mechanism is further provided through which the local lexicon can add a newly presented unique identifier to a corresponding data pair to one or more remote lexicons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
