<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element structure of a liquid crystal display device capable of preventing short-circuiting between source wiring and gate wiring due to static electricity in the manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The source wiring includes a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, and a conductive layer. At an intersection part between the source wiring and the gate wiring, the conductive layer at the end of the source wiring is removed, thereby making the semiconductor layer protrude. The gate wiring, the first semiconductor layer, the second semiconductor layer, and the conductive layer are formed using the same material as the material for forming a thin film transistor (TFT). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
