<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a rotation transmission shaft with a constant length to be used in common for doors different in thickness, without the need for provision of rotation transmission shafts of door locks different in length depending on each defined size of a door thickness. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation transmission shaft 30 includes a shank 45 which has one end 45a fitted into a fitting hole 35 of a thumb-turn 24 of an operation tool and which has the other end 45b fitted into a fitting hole 40 of a thumb-turn 25 of an interlocking body, and a stopper 50 for being fitted into a bearing hole 22 provided in a boss portion 22a of a lock body. The stopper comprises a supporting portion 50a which is provided integrally with the shank in the longitudinal center of the shank and in which the shank passes through the center, a flange portion 50b which is provided with a diameter larger than the bearing hole on the one axis-direction side of the supporting portion 50a, and a hook portion 50c with flexibility, which is provided higher than the bearing hole on the other axis-direction side of the supporting portion 50a.
