<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide copper powder for conductive paste which has oxidation resistance, initial electric conductivity and moisture resistance higher than the conventional copper power for conductive paste while avoiding adverse effect on an electric property. <P>SOLUTION: In the copper power for conductive paste for external electrodes excellent in oxidation resistance, the average grain diameter is 1 μm or more and 10 μm or less in case of spherical powder, and 3 μm or more and 40 μm or less in case of scale powder, and a tertiary amine-substituted polystyrene with the weight-average molecular mass of 2,000-200,000 having a tertiary amine on its surface coats the surface of copper power as a coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
