Reactor, comprises: a reactor chamber (1) having a chamber wall (14), which is provided with a liquid inlet (4) and a liquid outlet (5); and a UV lamp (2) emitting the UVC radiation, which is arranged in the reactor chamber, and comprises a lamp bulb, which encloses a discharge space, is surrounded by a cladding tube and is connected from at least one end with the chamber wall by a sealing element. The sealing element comprises an adapter head, which is sealed with the chamber wall, and exhibits a cladding tube receptacle.
