<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which integrates a control unit with a stack case housing a fuel cell stack and enables easy wiring connection between the control unit and internal devices located inside the stack case. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell device 100 includes a fuel cell stack 10, a stack case 30, and a control unit 41 which is placed on a placement member 40. A through hole 30ah is provided at a first case member 30a. An internal connector 42, used for making wiring connection between the control unit 41 and internal devices placed inside the stack case 30, is provided at a portion of the placement member 40, which faces the inner side of the stack case 30. Further, an external connector 43, used for making the wiring connection between the control unit 41 and external devices placed outside the stack case 30, is provided at a portion, which faces the outer side of the stack case 30.
