摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contrast of an IPS liquid crystal display device and to cancel difference of hue between color viewed from a front direction and the color viewed from an oblique direction in an IPS mode liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: An optical polymer film characterized in 0&le;Re(630)&le;10, 5&le;Rth(630)&le;30, and -15&le;Rth(&lambda;)&le;33 over an entire light wavelength range of 480 to 750 nm is used for a liquid crystal display device.
