<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable dimension palette which can minimize dead space on which a load cannot be placed, even when the size of a placing surface is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The variable dimension palette P includes: a deck board unit 1 having the rectangular placing surface R formed such that a plurality of deck boards 10 are arranged in parallel; and a base unit 5 on which the deck board unit 1 is mounted and which is placed on a floor. The deck board unit 1 supports rear surfaces of the deck boards 10 and has a pantograph mechanism 20 expanded and contracted in a Y direction. By expanding and contracting the pantograph mechanism 20, in a state where directions of each of the deck boards 10 are adjusted, the deck boards 10 are moved in the Y direction, so that space between the deck boards 10 adjacent to each other is varied, allowing the size of the placing surface R to be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
