<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box device which eliminates a complicated operation for installing a leaf spring to a lock body, requires no base member by directly installing the lock body to a lid, and comprises: a latch energizing spring which exhibits spring force energizing a rotating latch to the side of disengagement with a striker and is provided between the rotating latch and the lock body; and a leaf spring installed to the lock body so as to energize the striker to the side of disengagement from the rotating latch when the striker is engaged with the rotating latch. <P>SOLUTION: The glove box device is constituted by: a leaf spring 23 whose one end is engaged with a lock body 18 before installation of the leaf spring 23 to the lock body 18 is completed; and a latch energizing spring 22, a torsion spring, which has one end 22a engaged with the lock body 18 and positioned opposite to the leaf spring 23 from a side of preventing disengagement of one end of the leaf spring 23 engaged with the lock body 18 from the lock body 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
