<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent grafted seedling by preventing impairment of accuracy in joining of the seedling caused by the inappropriate posture or position of the seedling or a clip. <P>SOLUTION: The grafted seedling producing apparatus has a clip feeding device for transferring and feeding clips for joining the grafted seedling one by one in the longitudinal direction to joint positions in such a state that a grip part is open, holding and fixing both rootstock seedlings and scion seedlings by closing the grip parts, and further transferring the clips which fix the rootstock seedlings and scion seedlings in the longitudinal direction and releasing the rootstock seedlings and scion seedlings together. The grafted seedling producing apparatus also has support members (121 and 122) for supporting the clips to be fed to joining positions from below. A scion seedling pretreatment part (122) of the support members (121 and 122) on the other side in the lateral direction from the joint position projects in a clip releasing direction further than a rootstock seedling pretreatment part (121) on one side in the lateral direction from the joint position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
