<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharging head that prevents a failure caused by the reverse voltage generated by the forced flexure of a vibrating plate to markedly increase durability and achieve prolonged service life, and also reduces cost by improving the yield in manufacturing, and to provide an ink cartridge and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet head 61 includes: a nozzle hole for discharging ink; a liquid chamber base plate including an individual liquid chamber, wherein a part of the individual liquid chamber is constituted of the vibrating plate; and a piezoelectric element 30 provided in the vibrating plate and generating a pressure in the individual liquid chamber by the application of a voltage thereto so as to allow the nozzle hole to discharge ink.
