摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic temperature generation method for generating a cryogenic temperature of 1 K or lower by using helium 4 without using helium 3 which is artificial element expensive and hardly handled. <P>SOLUTION: The cryogenic temperature generating method has been achieved by using cryogen by the helium 4, a magnetic field of 6 tesla or more and PrPd3 as the magnetic cooling material in and by carrying out magnetic cooling. The magnetic degree of freedom of 4f electron spin of praseodymium element is used in the method. In particular, the cryogenic temperature generation method of 1 K or less uses the helium 4 and the magnetic field using the PrPd3 as the material of the magnetic cooling and PrPd3 as the material of the magnetic cooling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
