<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate operation in a channel connecting part to prevent an operator from detaching the channel connecting part from a recording head carelessly while an ink is being supplied. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a carriage 10; an ink storage part; an ink channel part 630 capable of transferring the ink from the ink storage part to the carriage; the recording head mounted on the carriage; a channel connecting part 80 mounted on the carriage and capable of connecting the ink channel part and the recording head; an operation means 90 capable of switching connected and unconnected states where the ink channel part and the recording head are connected or unconnected; and an operation means regulating part regulating the operation means.
