<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference of color reproducibility of an intermediate color due to a difference of a recording medium and to secure stable color reproducibility even between different recording media. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus for forming a color image by being juxtaposed and arranged, the saturation of the recording medium 200 is corrected by changing a ratio between additive color mixture and subtractive color mixture according to a light diffusion characteristic value of the recording medium for forming the intermediate color of the color image. The change of the ratio between two colors, the additive color mixture and subtractive color mixture, according to light diffusion characteristics of the recording medium is performed based on a change of a printing area ratio of a plurality of colors forming an intermediate color image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
