<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational technology for providing a large ink tank in a printer. <P>SOLUTION: A tank container case can be fitted to a pedestal provided on the side surface of a liquid consumption device from above, and in a state where the liquid consumption device is mounted on a plane, the tank container case is self-supported and a clearance is formed between the tank container case and the pedestal. Since the tank container case follows the liquid consumption device when it is raised, the liquid consumption device can be carried easily. Furthermore, since vibration of the housing is not transmitted to the tank container case even if liquid is injected from an injection head when the liquid consumption device is mounted, the surface of liquid in a liquid tank is prevented from swinging and thereby variation in pressure of supplying liquid to the injection head can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
